JWT solutions and ROShell complete FAT for Almaty CHP-3 water treatment project
Fujairah, UAE | September 2026
JWT Solutions FZE and ROShell FZC have achieved a significant milestone in the Almaty CHP-3 Water Treatment Project in Kazakhstan, following the successful completion of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and the preparation of the first 11 Reverse Osmosis (RO) units for shipment.
The project involves an integrated industrial water treatment solution incorporating Ultrafiltration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Electrodeionization (EDI) technologies, together with the associated process and auxiliary systems.
Successful factory acceptance testing
Factory Acceptance Testing was successfully completed in mid-August 2026 at ROShell FZC’s manufacturing facility in the United Arab Emirates, in the presence of the customer’s representative.
The testing confirmed that the manufactured equipment complies with the approved project requirements and is ready to proceed to the delivery stage.
First shipment: 11 Reverse Osmosis units
The first shipment comprises 11 RO units manufactured and integrated specifically for the Almaty CHP-3 project.
The units are undergoing final dispatch preparations before shipment from the UAE to Kazakhstan. Additional equipment packages will follow in accordance with the overall project implementation schedule.
One integrated delivery model
The Almaty CHP-3 project demonstrates the combined capabilities of JWT Solutions FZE and ROShell FZC, bringing process engineering, project execution, system integration and UAE-based original equipment manufacturer (OEM) manufacturing together within one coordinated delivery structure.
JWT Solutions FZE is responsible for process engineering, system design and integration, project management and overall project execution.
ROSHELL FZC provides UAE-based OEM manufacturing, assembly, equipment integration, quality control and Factory Acceptance Testing.
A milestone for international water treatment projects
Commenting on the milestone, Thomas Redko, Managing Director of ROShell FZC, said:
“The successful completion of FAT and the preparation of the first 11 RO units for shipment represent an important milestone for the Almaty CHP-3 project. Combining JWT Solutions FZE's engineering and system integration expertise with ROShell FZC's UAE-based OEM manufacturing capabilities gives us closer control over quality, schedules and execution, while providing customers with one coordinated delivery approach from design through commissioning.”
This milestone further reinforces the UAE’s role as a base for engineering, OEM manufacturing and the international delivery of advanced water treatment systems.
